Anger

Anger requires action. It is a boiling kind of energy that demands to be let out. Physical discharge in a safe setting such as walking, running, boxing, beating pillows, screaming in the car, or pumping iron can rid your system of rage and calm you down without causing harm to yourself or others. Doing so can help you think more clearly afterwards, and, in any case, it’s better than directing your anger towards living beings or precious objects.
